And, my 6yr old son's teeth were never even cleaned..polished!!! I went to this dentist for the first time to get a simple cleaning and schedule a future appointment for any further work that needed to be done.
When we tried to express our dissatisfaction, we were told, okay, go ahead & ask for another dentist. After I checked in with the receptionist and was escorted from the waiting room, I told the woman who was about to take my x-rays that the last time I saw a dentist was about 6 months ago.
Either way, there is no excuse for her to personally insult me. After x-rays and a quick exam they directed me into their 'finance room' where a lady named Carole explained to me that my insurance would only pay so much and that the rest would have to come out of my pocket.
We agreed that I would come back to have the beginning work done and I would come back for the additional (completion) when I would have my money to pay up front. Very soon after that, I received a delinquent bill in the mail for a cancelled appointment to the sum of $335.$300 of which was for my cxl'ed appt. After the exam they told be that I needed 4 crowns, 1 filling along with a medicated rinse treatment. I took the X-rays to another dentist that had treated me before when I had a PPO insurance.
And on Saturday, she will discuss and sign her book at an Author Focus event at 10 a.m.
